Professor Sandra Black
Professor Black is a clinical scientist and researches the association between stroke and brain disease, and resulting cognitive impairment. Other fields of interest include the relationship between Alzheimer’s disease and cerebrovascular dysfunction. The group uses neuroimaging techniques in patients to investigate brain-behaviour relationships, and is involved with multiple clinical and pharmaceutical trials in stroke and dementia.
